Savannah Point
Savannah Point is a unique peninsula in Savannah Lakes Village consisting of all waterfront properties and a community owned and managed Common Area running the entire length of the peninsula. The Savannah Point Common Area was established by Cooper Communities with the initial development of Savannah Lakes Village. The initial plan designated two natural areas joined by landscaped areas with a walking path along the entire length of the Common Area. The walking path would have multiple loops in the natural areas. The Common area is 1.2 miles in length, approximately 33 acres in size and encompasses four cul-de-sacs.
Subsequent development and maintenance of the Common Area has been under the guidance of Savannah Point residents, with the most recent action being the formation of The Savannah Point Common Area Management Committee in August 2013. The costs of managing the Common Area are shared equally by all lot owners through an annual assessment.
