POA dues and amenities

Property taxes
McCormick County taxes an owner-occupied legal residence on an assessment of 4% of fair market value, then applies the local millage rate. A legal residence is also exempt from taxes for school operating purposes. You apply once at the Assessor's Office, before the first penalty date for the tax year, bringing a South Carolina driver's license and vehicle registrations updated to the new address (McCormick County Assessor).
