Rolling hills, oaks and pines, and a shared finish.

Tara meanders through the hillsides of the Sumter National Forest, around Lake Thurmond and through the established neighborhoods of Savannah Lakes Village. The rolling topography reveals itself gradually through the round, with stately oaks and pines framing each hole.

Six sets of tees let Tara play from just over 4,300 yards to 7,002 yards, and the front and back nines return to a shared green at the ninth and eighteenth holes beside the clubhouse.

The ninth and eighteenth holes close at the same green, steps from the River Grille.

Tee times typically begin at 8 a.m. in summer and around 9 a.m. in fall, with shotgun starts in winter, weather permitting. Collared shirts and non-denim attire are expected on the course and in the clubhouse.
