These are existing regional experiences, not future Savannah Lakes Village facilities. Access, operating hours, rental inventory and trail conditions are set by the relevant operators.
On the trail
Hike. Ride. Repeat.
Hickory Knob State Resort Park has a linked system of hiking and biking trails through pine woods near the lake, with shorter routes and longer outings. Baker Creek State Park is known for its ten-mile mountain-bike loop, but the park currently reports all trails closed due to logging and storm impacts. Check park notices before planning a ride; do not treat Baker Creek's trails as open today.

Paddle a new perspective.
Hickory Knob lists kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals on a first-come basis. Lake Thurmond also offers boating and fishing through existing regional access points; ask about water conditions, safety and seasonal availability before going out.

Take the long way around.
For powered-boat time on the wider lake, Keg Creek Water Sports advertises pontoon and other rentals from Wildwood Park, outside the village. It is an independent regional provider, not a Savannah Lakes Village amenity. Confirm current reservations, location and requirements directly before making plans.

The POA's established facilities make it easy to meet for a swim, a court game, a workout or a round of golf. The River Grille at Tara, Monti's at Monticello and the Village Café belong to today's community dining story, separate from the proposed Dockside and tiki concepts.

Keep a local ritual.
Downtown McCormick offers everyday shops and a supermarket. The seasonal McCormick Farmers Market is listed at 1319 South Main Street by South Carolina's Department of Agriculture. Nearby towns add more restaurant and shopping options. Verify dates, vendors, hours and individual businesses before visiting.

A coffee counter imagined as the easy place to start the day, pause after a walk or meet a new neighbor.

An approachable neighborhood pizza concept for family nights, post-game gatherings and the uncomplicated meal everyone agrees on.
Shops & market.
Small-scale retail and market-style offerings could bring convenient essentials, local character and reasons to linger close to home.
Salons & services.
Personal-care services are envisioned as part of the future center's everyday mix, with tenants, offerings and operations still to be determined.
